12th Annual Christmas Market

The 12th Annual Christmas Market to benefit two Morristown-based charities operating in Africa will take place on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 2-7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 4 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Assumption Church, Rauscher Hall, 91 Maple Ave., Morristown. Volunteers will be selling African handicrafts from Tanzania, Sierra Leone, Rwanda, and Kenya, fine art photography, note cards, watercolor artwork, books, wood crafts, hand-painted silk scarves, knitted and crocheted outerwear, handmade soaps, Christmas ornaments and live plants, handmade Vietnamese delicacies, gift items, and many, many baked goodies.
Shop to help Africa Surgery (africasurgery.org) bring doctors and patients together in Sierra Leone for life-saving spinal surgeries and also to assist The Village Angels of Tanzania (thevillageangels-tanzania.org) employ at-risk local youths to make weekly food deliveries, hut repair, and general healthcare to isolated elderly poor people who have no family assistance.
Come to do some unique Christmas shopping and help the less fortunate. You won’t be sorry!
